Sunrise over a Channel Swim!

This morning we watched the sunrise over the English Channel from "optimist" where I was crewing for my friend Ian's Channel Crossing Swim! It was very overcast, it rained heavily for a while even and then the sun came out again and it was a rather glorious day! And best of all : HE DID IT ! 15h48min51s after leaving Dover, he set foot behind the waterline in France! Our hero! :)
