Snowy start

There were warnings of snow in the midlands and further north, but the slightly higher ground I live on was enough to turn the rain we had overnight to snow. Luckily the temperature was above freezing and it was raining. By the time I'd cleared the cars and driven to the nearest town the snow was all gone. A busy day, and then home promptly as it was my son's 23rd birthday and we had a chippy tea and chocolate cake with the candles. A crisp day and hoping that it doesn't freeze too badly tonight.
