Hidden Photographs

A few weeks ago, I found an old photo behind another photo so I thought I would look behind others to see if there were any hidden treasures.  I was shocked to find this one.   It is of my late husband taken in 1970 on an US aircraft carrier in the Gulf of Tonkin in Vietnam.  It has taken me a long time to restore the wrinkled, water-stained and faded image.  It was like seeing a ghost from the past.  He died in 2005 at 54 just 7 years after we were married.  You never know what surprises await you.
