Lab caching around Wigan
Took ages to de-ice my car this morning as it had snowed again during the night and the partially melted snow earlier had already frozen on before the extra layer. There was a big pile on the roof as well and I can't reach it so Terry cleared it off with a long, soft brush. I was glad about that as the last thing you want when you are driving along is a big heap of snow sliding down your windscreen to block your view .Got the car sorted eventually and off to meet my pals to do 2 lab caches.
The sun shone although the wind was bitter cold but we had an enjoyable walk and caching trip.
I was back home in time for some lunch.
The central heating went on earlier than usual today.
If it snows tonight it won't bother us as we have no need to venture out tomorrow.
Got a letter today with a telephone appointment for cardiology follow-up on Sunday Dec 15th. This will be interesting as they asked (many months back) for my GP to monitor my BP and pulse rate while increasing the diltiazem in order to lower my pulse rate. This has not been done despite me asking both the nurse clinician and the practice nurse when I had face to face appointments. I think I may have asked the nurse more than once but not certain on that - I have to ask re so many things that they have missed doing that I lose track.
Extra is of a somewhat worse-for-wear chap near the canal at Wigan Pier. He had a hat but it went missing some time ago. Someone should pop one on that head!
