White on white
After a very busy Monday and Tuesday with grandkids, R and I have had a catch-up day today. He was out briefly in the middle of the day, giving a talk to a local academic folklore group. The furthest I ventured outside was to the garden, to melt the water in the large dishes we leave out for birds. It was bitterly cold.
I've caught up with some Greek language work and have generally enjoyed having a breather.
So today's image is from my study windowsill, where a white orchid is still in bloom. Another is finishing, and a third has a new flower spike growing.
Texting Jack, I found that he's feeling slightly better but is still needing to stay off work for a bit.
Thanks for the stars, hearts and nice comments on yesterday's image of Simone.
