Lymington duck
This very pretty duck seen at Lymington today is, I think, a female pintail. There were so many birds there I would have been spoilt for choice with a longer lens, including Canada Geese, brent geese, pintails, teal, little egrets (I usually see one or two, today I saw 20 or 30, mostly squabbling), black headed gulls, redshank, greenshank, sandpipers, sanderling (I think), etc, etc! It was a beautiful day too, but very cold. We had our first proper white frost last night, so I should have known to wear my thicker gloves, only I failed on that one. Never mind..
Have a great evening, all xx
