A productive day of little things. 
Farsical process with the Disclosure and Barring Service. "You have to apply online". There is no online application that either I or AI can find. Emailed them... "we take 4-6 weeks to reply to enquiries". Nope doesn't work for me. Found a phone number. Eventually spoke to a human..."oh if you email us we have to ring you and go through the application with you, shall I just do it now?"... "Erm, yes please, that makes sense..." 

Rest of the day was more positive. 

We've started to document some of our Volunteers Journeys. There are lots of ways to measure  impact, but for many of our wonderful volunteers Wellness Walks has been transformational and empowering. Loveliness.
Interviewed this morning by a local paper. "How on earth have we never heard of you?".... Well I guess some organisations are more interested in doing good deeds than talking about them.
Finished the day by provisionally booking a venue for our first 'gathering', obviously we'll never get everyone together, but we now have 68 people in the extended team!
