Mamiya

It's Wednesday so Phil showed up bright and early and over coffee produced a bag with three cameras that he'd picked up in Dunfermline's antique / junk / house clearance shop. A Voigtlander, a Zeiss Ikon and a third one that I can't remember. Three for £70 in a package deal that he'd haggled. He likes a haggle. The one he didn't buy was the Mamiya so we went back up and I bought it. It's got issues. The film winding knob is missing and the focussing knobs have been replaced by brass things. But that's why we have 3D printers. More importantly the shutter is a bit sticky below 1/15 sec. Dismantled the lens as much as I dared and didn't manage to fix it but there's one more thing I'll try before I put a film through it and see if it exposes fine at 1/15 and above because, to be honest, you don't need much more slower than that.
