A Snowy Start

Woke up to a light dusting of snow. More snow arrived this morning (see extras) by afternoon it had gone to be replaced with sunshine and strong shadows. It was bitterly cold. Definitely a day for warm clothing and a brisk walk.

Heating on and a chicken casserole plus apple and bramble pie  for dessert. Comfort food definitely required.
