Cold

Today was beautifully sunny again, but very cold. I gave Django a walk around the edge of the Estate, and then back through Penicuik. At home I had a spare hour or two before going into work, so I started coding something easy.

I went into work, arriving just on time for a late-starting seminar. It was a bit of a mess, with a very muddled use of machine learning in a case where traditional techniques are better. Back in the office, four of us worked away happily, until the PhD students had to go to a meeting relating to the case study in one of their courses. That left me and developer F, who went elsewhere when my Year 4 student came to ask for advice. 

Back home, I cooked for myself, and then walked Django, since A is out in Edinburgh.
