All's well

Thanks for all your concern. When I woke up this morning it was 56 F / 13.3 C inside the house. Tiger and I have been snuggling. After a very large breakfast, trying to eat up stuff I might have to throw out, I walked around the house and was grateful for no damage, just a few broken branches. They say it might be days before power is restored. I have access to a fireplace but since I refuse to leave even warm coals unattended, I will just stay bundled up for now. I also can take Tiger and I over to my sisters if needed. The vet says down to 45 F is safe for a house cat but watch for certain symptoms. Also grateful for an old fashioned transistor radio that runs for weeks on a few batteries.

Many roads are still impassable, well over 300,000 still without power and... Thanks again for your concern
