My mothers family

Just been out sorting more boxes and came across this pic of my mothers family probably taken sometime in the 1930’s
My mum is top right. Relooking at it I couldn’t get over comparing it with the way we dress today. My mum would be 30 or less. My granny and her sister lost their mum when they were 10 and 8 and from then on had to keep house for their dad and brothers. Imagine that happening today. They were two amazing ladies and lived until they were 86 and 90
They wrote to each other every week until their death
This pic has brought back so many memories of all these people who were all very close
Today went out to lunch with the ladies of the village. Most enjoyable and got to know a few more villagers
