Clocking A Well Dressed Skull
Today we had to head into town for an 'onerous' task - shopping for my sister's birthday. She always likes quite a fuss made for her birthday and we always feel under quite the obligation to get it right (even though the same doesn't always happen when it's our turn - a particular low point being having to buy a take away for my own birthday because that's what my dad wanted to eat!).
So to gird our loins we had a 'Spoons breakfast and a cheeky early pint. We managed to secure several gifts afterwards and even got to sample a free, and it must be said rather potent, chilli chocolate when we were buying our sister's favourite chocolates.
Today's image was taken just before we were heading home and is of a fabulously eccentric shop window display. I was particularly enamoured of the top hatted clock - surely what every well dressed skull is wearing this season!
Present shopping completed for the day we returned home for a 'well deserved' glass of wine watching some of our current favourite TV - Grand Designs, with an episode looking back to the very first home being built 25 years ago, and Designing The Hebrides following the wonderfully irrepressible Design Masters winner Banjo Beale as he breathes new life into homes and businesses across the islands.
