The Wheatley

Ballet this morning then back to The Wheatley for coffee after its three month closure for refurbishment.
We all agreed we liked the new decor even though we had all liked the old style too.
One change is that the room used for functions now has tables for dining in. They can be removed if requested. Rebecca had her 4Oth birthday party here but it looks so different today.
Gave it a greenish mono tint for today’s Abstract Thursday challenge set as usual by the irrepressible Ingeborg. Thank you.

Plans for tonight have changed, l was going to see An Evening with Martin Fry ( ABC) with Tim and Adele, unfortunately Tim has gone down with a bad cold so they emailed the tickets to me. Elaine ( who doesn’t like gigs) and Di ( who does) are coming with me. Thankfully it’s a sit down event which will suit us nicely.
