I, to the hills...

Yesterday there was a little snow down at our level, which is around 125 feet above sea level.   I had to drive to Strachur late afternoon and there was much more on what was an icy road over the Leanach.  

Today there is sleet down here but if you lift your eyes to the hills, over the last of the autumn colours, there is snow higher up , and more than last night.   

I think this I the earliest fall I have seen here , though the cold spell is due to end with a very wet Saturday in prospect.
