Embleton

This was today at around about 8ish.  It was -7 the sun rise made me stop and photo the scene.  There was also fog too.  You're looking towards Skiddaw.  Embleton seems to have its own micro climate.  Yes, it was cold.  It was a day of odd/strange things.  I went on to Castlerigg Stone Circle, chatted with a lady as she was taking photos with her phone and said, 'Your photos will be better than mine.' To which I replied, 'phones do give good photos.'  We also discussed the fellas in the middle of the circle, gathered round a fire, drinking alcohol, being noisy and one wearing a dressing gown showing bare legs!  The pair of us had never seen anybody doing this behaviour at the 'Stones' before.  I used the stones to hide them. And then there was the stag walking through a field next to the A66 near Braithwaite.  I wasn't using my telephoto lens, but I did get results.
Oh, yes my laptop is OK.  Well it hasn't written in code so far!
