Lucky day

With large areas of the county affected by a sudden heavy snowfall with blocked roads, school closures, etc some not too far from here, the morning was mostly wet with heavy rain apart from a lengthy snow storm which luckily didn't accumulate on the ground. The clouds gave way to weak sunshine in the early afternoon enough to briefly highlight this training Begonia in the conservatory. With another cold night forecast and temperatures already hovering on ZeroC a masterstroke of planning has seen me with salad for supper - not all bad news as it's a warm avocado salad with Orzo pasta, bacon, pesto, and plum tomatoes.
