Frosty
Out at a work event this morning, celebrating 90 years of Lancashire’s rural community council. Fascinating to learn more about how their work has changed in that time (and also slightly sobering about how little some of the issues have changed - unlike the fashion and hairstyles in the pictures).
Then back home to tackle the email inbox, and sort a few other administrative tasks. After driving home in crisp winter sunshine, I realised that there were some heavy snow showers, and decided that I would raid the store cupboards for tea rather than go up to the shop. My plans for chilli con carne were thwarted when I went to retrieve it from the freezer this morning and realised that I had obviously already eaten the last portion. It is definitely time for some more batch cooking to restock!
