The stalwarts turned out...

...for petanque in the snow...

It isn't melting as it is so cold, but the two Davids cleared the lower terrain so we didn't have to cancel today, and 10 of us turned out! 

I was partnered with Gill this time, and we won both games - our opponents had a 'mare ;) 

Apparently it's t-shirt weather in Yorkshire... but I had my padded trousers on, and four layers of fleece etc, including an ice-breaker long-sleeved undershirt! 

It was nice in the sun, but as the sun dropped it got cold quite quickly. I'm sure I wear less when we're ski-ing ;)

It's snowing again now...
