Surveying his world!

Winter hill looks very wintery today with more snow to come!  The gardener spent 6 hours here pruning the old apple tree that hadn't been pruned for at least three years!  I spent some time with him picking up branches etc.  It was beautiful and but so cold!  Apparently it had been - 5 C last night!
