Well below zero

It was a very cold day today, -5° on the car by the time I arrived at work and it didn't feel like it warmed up much either. It was not the day for the last bus to break down and its replacement to arrive over an hour after the bell went. In between there was minimal teaching, several meetings, starting Y11 mock exams and time to offer support to some students. A fairly satisfying day in spite of the freezing cold.
