Thursday: Log Fire

Zero degrees this morning when we got up around 7:30am and felt very chilly all day.

We went shopping calling at Home Bargains, then Lidl for a trolley full of groceries and finally The Pet Place to get new bird feeders … for when it gets really cold and we’ll start feeding them :-)

I had a little wander around the garden but it was too cold to be outside … MrD pottered in his shed for an hour or so.

I lit the log burner around 3pm  - outside temperature at 7pm is 4°C.

We watched a film on Netflix “Waking Ned” which is set in Ireland, amazing characters, beautiful Irish music and lots of laughs …
