Snawy Stocketgaet

A mix of wintry weather today, rain, sleet, snow and haily-puckles, along with a cold breeze.  A bright sunny afternoon.  Thawing tonight, but could easily freeze again.

Defrosted the car, headed to work early.  Another day on the toon essykert with Philip and young Steven.  More black bag waste from businesses, north Lerwick and Sandveien.  A couple of minor delays when we got stuck, more snowball fights too.  Walkies with Sammy after work, popped by Madeline's.  A lazy evening at home, and a video chat with pals Leanne and George Arthur.  

It was a bitterly cold morning with the wet snow and rain showers, much prefer the proper snow and haily-puckles, you can brush that off.  It doesn't take long to warm up throwing the bags and moving heavy wheelie bins, a saving grace.  The main roads have been fairly cleared, but you can see the side roads and streets still white.  A snowy scene this morning at Stocketgaet, north Lerwick.
