Late Afternoon Owl
A short-eared owl doing a fly-by late afternoon.
I spent my morning returning a few of the wedding accessories to places in Cheltenham; I feel like I've been running a lost and found shop here.
A neighbour who also has a border terrier Teric, asked me to go to a secure field so we could let Millie and Teric have a run round together and let off steam for an hour which was great. We stomped around in the sunshine and snow whilst the dogs had a ball.
I was getting texts from the owl field at this point. Consequently when the hour was up I hot-footed it up there but was very late to the party. Most people had started leaving whilst I was still getting my lenses out.
With Millie exhausted in a pile in her cosy Funnyfuzzy basket in the car I then shot home to help Hubs with grandson. We are doing our thing tonight with Olly - play time, feeding, bath-time, dinosaur story and bed, and he has been a little angel for us. Leaving the lad slumbering peacefully upstairs I can now look at a few shots and hopefully I too will be slumbering peacefully any second now.
