Bluesky

After yesterday’s photo I thought I’d post this.

I used to enjoy Twitter as a forum for setting out alternative views and arguments and accessing news. However, in recent this the algorithms have been posting more and more outlandish comments which are increasingly crude and spreading misinformation.

I tried Threads a year or so ago but it did not do it for me. So I have joined the movement to Bluesky. I’m not sure if it will deliver but anything is better than X these days unless you have a specific set of beliefs and a certain world outlook.

I suspect I will continue to access the X site for some of those whom I follow but as I’ve not posted anything on X I don’t think I’ll be missed when I eventually close down my account.
