Professional Christmas
Still on yesterday's theme, today we wandered into a huge retail warehouse, selling very little other than Christmas decorations, lights, trees, ornaments, outside displays and nearly anything else that might remotely be associated with the season. Everything I saw seemed to belch Christmas music, sleigh bells and jingle thingies. Likewise everything seemed constantly on the move, colours changing feverishly in an overwhelming cacophony of sight and sound noise .
The main blip was on a long shelf weighed down by dozens of similarly styled objects. The polystyrene snow flakes fell constantly, fed by electric pump.
I thought I needed to get out more ... and so I managed to. A real eye opener for this old codger. Still, in spite of all the scrooge like utterances, a tiny part of me is still a small boy, thank goodness.
