Roses

Owing to my current state of incapacitation, we decided to travel up to town so isbi could spend the day on the computer and I could watch the cricket without disobeying any medical instructions.
The blip is of the rose bush over the gate of our Blackheath house.
Another reason for my relaxing day was to recover from the unmerciful trashing I received in the replies to isbi’s blip yesterday. In my defence I’d like to point out the offence was committed while the car was battling up Victoria Pass (the steepest major highway in Australia) and isbi was merrily conversing with our daughter in Montreal. I’m now on a yellow card from isbi’s followers!
