Drum Rose

Afternoon out at Drum Castle, Aberdeenshire, noted for its Rose Garden, with sections dealing with roses from various centuries.

For me, this was the one I particularly liked. I think the whorl is wholly captivating. I couldn't find out the Name, though that doesn't matter.

I also like the sense of 'Beauty peeking out from the dark foliage' - ' The Light shines in the Darkness, and the Darkness cannot overcome it'!
