Snow Scene

I went into Cambridge early on the train, it would be too dark to drive home afterwards, as I was meeting some Open University colleagues for lunch. I did some shopping, bought some books and other odds and ends.
 
The lunch was at Browns Restaurant; their gluten free menu is excellent. However, when my Vanilla Crème Brulee arrived it had biscuits with it. I was assured they were gluten free, but they did not look it, so I decided I would not eat them. A few minutes later, the waitress return to say they were not gluten-free. It was dark when I got home, so quite a long day, but a brilliant day all round.
 
Today’s picture is of one of the many Christmas decorations in The Grand Arcade. It was taken at an angle to avoid photography a small child.
 
The temperature at noon today was two degrees Celsius. Another very sharp frost this morning, but the sun did come out eventually.
