Hawaiian War Chant

When I took a shot of this sad sight the song just came to my mind: "As the sun pulls away from the shore and our boat sinks slowly in the west". The water is high as the other boats indicate but still something else must have happened as well. The extras show that ice is starting to form now.

I was introduced to the wonderful zany music of Spike Jones in late 1970 by a student colleague, and we became really good friends. Sadly a brain tumor took him away in 1995 but every time I listen to Spike Jones I remember him. Also now.
