Spotted
When I looked out of the window this morning I saw we had a woodpecker on the lawn, so I carefully drew back the bedroom curtains and then went downstairs to make a cup of tea to bring up to JJ for his 80th birthday. I also lit a candle and stuck it in a mini Battenburg as a treat. (No expense spared in this household).
Whilst the kettle was boiling, I carefully aimed the camera lens between the dining room curtains and took a few pictures.
After breakfast we walked up to the village and around the park. I was going to suggest going to the Mill for a bacon buttie but he had one yesterday and his arteries don't need furring up unnecessarily.
I've suggested playing a few rounds of Cribbage this afternoon as it's too cold to work in the garden, and this evening we're taking son, partner and four friends out to dinner.
