Portmeirion

A spontaneous purchase on Tuesday from a British Heart foundation charity shop in Holsworthy. There are some lovely pieces of everything in charity shops just now. As the elderly die their families already own exactly what they want/need and are happy to get rid of the excess “junk” to charity shops or even to house clearance businesses. Bargains to be had and some wonderful China and other hand made items that have been donated.
I walked into town and bought a jigsaw to add to my growing collection of tools., Dippy managed to chew through his lead twice!
I introduced Vivienne to the Chai tea I’ve been using for the past few months and she enjoyed it as we sat by the warmth of the Aga devouring the apple cake she’d made.
