Tomb
We are staying with friends in Trottiscliffe on the North Downs. This is Coldrum Long Barrow, a Neolithic burial chamber. It was excavated in the 1920s and the bodies of 17 people were found inside.
The tomb is estimated 4000BC (1000yrs before Stonehenge!)
In the tree you can see various streamers tied, feathers and various other symbols are placed about by druids and other spiritual types..
