Lunch with a view .

Sister M and I enjoyed lunch at the lovely Beach Hotel today and enjoyed this view. The Beach Hotel is an iconic hotel in our city and has a wonderful l elegant feel. We spent a long time there and just felt grateful for life. 
I played golf this morning, playing with my friend who has stage 4 lung cancer. She managed nine holes but didn't feel well afterwards. It's so good to see her persevering with playing. But I felt sad after my game... I only played nine holes with her.
So lunch, and appteciation of life with sister M was called for. 
It's been a really hot day. Summer is hete.
