Did a walk nr Crummock Water this morning (the Buttermere end).  Good to see some of the fell tops with a covering of snow.   Didn't actually go down to the lake but took a favourite uphill track which runs parallel to the lake.  As I started to return to the car it rained.  Didn't have a waterproof jacket on as forecast was for sunshine.  I walked very fast back to the car!  After I had a coffee in the car the rain had stopped and there was sunshine, so did another shortish walk at Rannerdale.  Postcard in extras.
