Reflection

I switched on the dining-room light this morning and when I turned round I saw this.
It took me a second or two to realise that it was the reflection of the small mirror in the hall on the window blind opposite.
I have never noticed it before, so it was worthy of a Blip.

I started making a shallow dish from the chunk of wood I cut in the neighbour's garden the other day.
The thickness of the chunk had to be cut to under half its thickness because there was a saw cut in the 'top'. How he thought cutting straight down into a stump was going to get rid of it I have no idea. Mind you, the way he and his wife park abandon their vehicles it comes as no surprise.

There was a late request to do a charity pick-up this afternoon which I only just managed to drop off before The Larder shut for the weekend.

Early evening we nipped over to Bags' to say Happy Birthday to the SIL and drop off his card and present.
The Cygnet was doing some of his exercises. He may be tall and skinny but he is solid muscle.
