Winston Churchill - The Artist

This can be seen, along with his many other paintings, in his studio at Chartwell, National Trust property, in Kent.

Whenever we visit Chartwell, I always take a look at his wonderful work This painting is of his daughter making a speech after laying the first foundation stone of her playhouse known as Marycot, in the gardens.

It is entitled 'Mary's First Speech'. Churchill painted it from a photograph taken by his friend. Charming, isn't it?
