Riverdance and Owl Clock

The girls came back from school today all fired up for the weekend. Julia picked them up at 16:00 as they have gymnastics on a Friday, after school, hence the colourful kit they are wearing.
'Alexa' put some Irish Dance music on, not sure who asked for it but the girls love it. They danced around for ages doing Riverdance. Michael Flatley would have been so proud of them. As you can imagine, it was very difficult to get an in-focus photograph of them, in fact it was impossible!
Julia came back yesterday afternoon so took them to school this morning as well as picking them up. This meant I wasn't getting my normal walk so off I went to do a solo walk. I took quite a convoluted route which included going through the grounds of what was an old Mental Hospital. It has been turned into apartments, I would imagine they are quite lovely although I've never been inside.
At the beginning of the grounds, the way I entered them, is a clock carved out of a tree trunk. It has 12 owls in the positions of the hour numbers. It also has hands, pointed to 10 to 2, but it is not a working clock, although it is accurate twice a day for a very short time.
