Rhyl Beach late afternoon

FRIDAY

Another cold day - temperatures just above zero with wintry showers.

This morning the  A55 was closed at nearby Rhuallt Hill due to it being impassable and there were lots of vehicle accidents as drivers diverted off onto the ungritted back lanes.

The showers abated mid afternoon and I drove over to Rhyl with a stop off at Sainsbury's for a few bits and bats.

Instead of my usual cappuccino, I picked up a hot chocolate at the 1891 bar and took it with me for a walk on the promenade, a near deserted beach and surprisingly busy town centre.
