autumn reflection

Tidied up various bits and bobs at work. Then presentation about Research Software Engineers. In the afternoon my colleague and I visited the doors open day of the learning centre of the Charité. We got to look through the pupils of a dummy to see if the eye was healthy, try out an ECG (unfortunately the printer was out of paper) and see (or not) what it is like to be old by wearing glasses that simulate various eye diseases such as cataracts which was fairly unpleasant. We also could experience having a hand tremor. Then coffee at my colleague's and trip to furniture department store to pick up yet another book case and book case extensions. We'll need to go back as they didn't have enough extensions. But that is a problem for another day.
