Fall
I spent as much of the day as I could admiring the Vercors mountains and the autumn leaves. I also managed to fit in the welcome reception at Grenoble Town Hall where, in time-honoured fashion, a dignitary told us about ourselves and what we were going to do, then served us a very good buffet lunch. In return we stood on the town hall steps and sang Handel's Hallelujah Chorus - mostly to each other but also to a small audience.
Our afternoon visit was to Grenoble Museum's impressive art collection. I've been a few times before but discovered that it is quite a lot bigger than I thought - and that there is more to see than I've so far seen.
A rehearsal this evening.
