It was an icy cold but beautiful morning while walking beside the Esk which we had seldom seen so low.  There were hundreds of different kinds of birds along the river and along the shoreline and possibly some unusual ones judging by the enthusiastic bird watchers with very powerful camera lenses.  These Canadian geese are always around.
