Tekapo

Our "roadie" as I mentioned yesterday was inland to the gorgeous Lake Tekapo, mainly to photograph the lupins and California poppies that are submerged in the lake.  OldTimer, S and myself made the trip, I took our car. The other two of our group couldn't make it today.
This is not normal, Lake Tekapo is very high at the moment.  
Yearly, we drive the hour and quarter inland to Tekapo, to photograph the lupins mainly, but the poppies this year are particularly vibrant and pretty....being in the water a bonus.  Of course not all are in the water, but I mainly photographed them in the lake.
I used my Sony and my Canon with macro (the first extra)...the rest are with the Sony.  Once I have done the editing I'll put a folder in Flickr.
It really was all about the flowers today, I didn't take any landscapes.
