Waiting

Heading back from The Cumberland I was happy to be walking fast and keeping warm and not having to hang about waiting on a taxi. Have to say the St Vincent looked very inviting though! Just George and JacktheLad tonight and a change of venue because The Tiq was rammed to the gunnels - what’s with Christmas dos in November? Anyway, a few pints of Landlord went down just fine as G and me struggled with a devilish quiz.
Had to nip up to the allotment earlier and was a bit distressed to find my kale decimated by some hungry critters. So much for that.
