Snow approaches.

It is now with us. Forth bridge closed. No Edinburgh buses. I don't think it will last long the temperatures are forecast to rise. It has hit the two Christmas markets we were to visit today, tomorrow's may be OK.

Update. Extras.

The snow has now gone and it is cold and wet and miserable. Time to turn on the Christmas lights! It was so grim I didn't hang around for the event. Very few did compared to other years.  I'll pop down some evening to see them, although I suspect they are same ones as the past ten years.

The girls on stage belted out a fine selection of Christmas songs, they were very good, sadly there were more of them on stage than were listening. Pity, had the weather been like yesterday it would have been a grand event. 

The indoor market was more of a success in Linlithgow inspite of a treacherous icy car park.
