My friend; the retired vicar…

… at the Community café this morning. If you think he’s brave wearing shorts in this weather then you’ll think he’s totally bonkers because he doesn’t normally wear shoes. He only put shoes on this morning because he came to town on the bus and it is a long walk from his house to the bus stop.

Our posties are also wearing shorts in these howling gales and heavy rain but I’ve not seen a single one barefoot!

And I think anyone wearing shorts in this weather qualifies for Silly Saturday!
