We Got...

...snow...

This was at 8am and by lunchtime we had nearly 2 inches!  Quite different from this last week's blue skies!

However, we have had worse in the past and yet roads were blocked and there were accidents.  Not sure it was down to the weather but more to do with the lack of gritting!  Our little village wasn't gritted until almost midday.

I was sanding down the woodwork around my bedroom and there were a few vehicles trying to get up our hill - with much difficulty!  Our street doesn't get gritted but there are 2 boxes...  yet most people in the street use them for their own driveways but don't think about doing the road itself...  Changed days from when I first moved here when everyone did their own wee bit!
