I am not ready

I was up having granola and coffee before 6 and very much looking forward to meeting P for coffee at 8:30.

Dunkin Donuts is the place most like my Tim Horton's at home. So, our meet-up was a friendly and inviting place. 

I arrived early giving me time to take some photos. I also got to meet Dave, a 'neighbour' from the state of Washington. We had a chat about a number of topics from weather to the politics of the times before P arrived. I tread carefully when talking US politics as I am an opinionated old woman, but I am a guest here. 

P arrived on schedule and we sipped our coffees and talked for two hours. We didn't hit every topic so there's more to come. We are both looking forward to plein air painting soon. 

I was home to greet the mailman by 11 AM. It will be a quiet day at home.
