Lava

I was watching a video on YouTube of the latest Icelandic eruption, which has engulfed the car park to the Blue Lagoon tourist attraction.  Heavy machinery has now heaped up barricades to prevent it from destroying anything else there and it appears to have been successful.  Great footage taken from a drone.  I also watched some amazing footage from an abandoned school up in the mountains in Japan.  All the books and loads of the equipment were left in there!  It included pianos, keyboards, a display of old farming equipment and an equipped science lab that appeared to still have experiments left there too!  

Stuart went to a Stamp Fair this morning and got a lot of African stamps that he has wanted for years at a bargain price. They appear to have come from a French collection (as everything is titled in French on the loose pages).  They look to be in excellent condition.

Storm Bert has brought a lot of rain this afternoon and evening and quite strong winds.  I believe it has been worse in western areas.
