River Tyne
It was a lovely morning. It was cold, but not windy. I went for a quick walk down to the river, then once back home I headed out for a run. It was such a lovely crisp and bright morning. I did my usual six mile route.
Once home I had some toast. Did a few chores, and psyched myself up for logging in to work.
I logged on just before noon, and logged off just before 7pm, and hardly had time to think. A very busy afternoon and evening that passed in a flash. My boss was meant to be on leave today, but she had cancelled it. Out big boss was meant to be off, and he was in, as well as a lot of people like me who don’t normally work on a Friday. It’s s ridiculously busy time. An almost impossible task to be completed in a ridiculously short period of time.
I was exhausted when I eventually logged off and had to sit and do nothing for ten minutes or so. I made a pasta bake to de-stress.
TT appeared home when I was cooking. He offered to get me a gin and tonic, but I really wasn’t in the mood. We enjoyed the pasta. I then popped out for s walk to clear my head. When so got back, BB had appeared. He’s supposed to be playing rugby tomorrow. They were watching rugby, and when it was gone TT and I started series 3 of Slow Horses.
This is the Nungate Bridge, over the River Tyne this morning.
